FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR OPPORTUNITIES
JATO Aviation is looking for flight instructors who are passionate about helping pilots achieve their aviation goals. We specialize in glass cockpit aircraft and have locations in San Carlos, Palo Alto, Livermore, and Concord, CA.
Qualifications: Flight instructors who want to join the JATO team have to hold both CFI and CFII certificates and must have Garmin G1000 experience. Previous experience or qualifications as a Cirrus and/or G1000-equipped C172 Instructor are highly valued.
Traits/Goals: We are looking for CFIs who like to work collaboratively with other CFIs and staff. As a Platinum Cirrus Training Center, our standards are high, and our training curriculum is structured, and we are looking for CFIs to join the group who resonate with that philosophy. The training environment at JATO is dynamic, professional, and fun. We value other CFIs who are motivated to challenge themselves, master flying and teaching in amazing airplanes in an unparalleled fleet, and who enjoy working with highly successful and motivated clientele.
Availability: We are hiring CFIs who are available 4-5 days/week with weekend availability. CFIs must also be willing to travel to multiple locations.
Opportunities: Flight Instructors at JATO Aviation have many opportunities for growth. We have a large fleet of Cirrus and Cessna aircraft in which we do Private Pilot and Instrument training. We also have one of the largest fleet of high performance Cirrus Aircraft, a fleet of managed aircraft, and a charter division. CFIs have an opportunity to do more advanced training, experience flights to destinations around the US, and there are also Part 135 "flow-through" opportunities.
